For instance let’s see how the brain of a human being is functioning which is made of the nerve cells called neurons. When you become aware of something new and you consciously recognize it your neurons start formulating a group of these neurons that have received the information of your new experience or perception. The neurons formulate this group by creating links between them (synapses). Inside the brain there are many groups like these which contain information for people, work, home, family, friends etc. When attention is connected with one of these groups you can start remembering your friend or something that has happened in your life. If you will develop enough the power of concentration you will be able to remember all the incoming information so clearly and realistically as if you are transferred to the past. These groups of neurons also are formulating bigger groups that contain for example happy or unhappy memories, spiritual or materialistic, wise or mundane, important or not important etc. And so the mind is separated in many parts between which exists a constant “fight” as for example between the group which contains the information about morality and another group that contains the information about your sexuality or between the group that contains the information of all your wishes and dreams of being independent, free, strong and self-sufficient and the group that contain the information regarding all the people in your life or a particular person that suppressed you or scared you or made you feel weak. These opposite groups of neurons separate your energy flow in parts and so you start feeling this inner conflict. You start experiencing from inside this separation of your different parts. So you start, inside of you, hating this person but in reality you generate through your hate a stream of destructive energy that is directed to this group of neurons that contain your memories in your brain. Hatred, anger, fear, jealousy and all the other negative emotions are destructive in this way. In this way you may hate a person even if this person is not in your surrounding environment anymore or even if this person is dead because there is inside your brain the group of neurons that has stored the memories regarding him or her.
The first thing you need to realize is that everything you know about yourselves and the world is inside of you. It is the memory. And this “knowledge” that we have received has the characteristic that it contains inside all these conflicting separate parts. It creates inner conflict. Every part (group of neurons) of the brain has very concrete energy and each concrete energy goes against some other concrete energies inside the same brain, your brain. But you need to realize that all these things are just happening inside of you. It seems to you that all these people, events and things exist by themselves separate from you but in reality they are simply parts of your brain between which is happening constant inner dialogue. In your mind are happening different beautiful or terrible situations that have maybe happened in the past or they could possibly happen in the future but also may never happen at all. And this situation between the different stored parts of your brain, this inner dialogue (or many times conflict) is happening all the time....
